My startup journey with Smartos continues to reach one more honorable milestone as we were named among the top 10 best projects in the HK Tech 300 Southeast Asia Start-up Competition.

This recognition is not just a win for us, it’s a testament to the hard work, dedication, and innovative spirit of our entire team. Being the only Vietnamese startup to receive this prestigious honor makes this achievement even more special.

A Journey of Determination and Innovation

Competing against hundreds of projects from across the region, including those from Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, and Hong Kong, was no small feat. Each project brought unique innovations and ideas to the table, making the competition fierce and inspiring. 

The award ceremony in Hong Kong was a highlight of our journey. I had the distinct pleasure of introducing the Smartos product ecosystem to esteemed individuals like Professor Sun Dong, (JP, Deputy Minister of Innovation & Technology of the Hong Kong government) and Mr. Lester Garson Huang (SBS, JP, Chairman of CityUHK Council). This opportunity to showcase our product to such influential figures was both an honor and a testament to the credibility and potential of our solution.

Participating in the HK Tech 300 Southeast Asia Start-up Competition was a memorable milestone for us. It provided great recognition for our journey of bringing optimization and efficiency to the rental apartment operating process. The team has tirelessly worked to deliver these benefits to our customers, and this achievement validates our hard work and dedication.

One of the most valuable aspects of the event was the opportunity to network with other startups, industry experts, and potential investors. The HK Tech 300 Southeast Asia Start-up Competition provided ample opportunities to build meaningful connections. We met potential investors, partners, and mentors who are as passionate about innovation as we are. The connections we made during the competition are invaluable, providing us with new perspectives, ideas, and opportunities for collaboration. 

This award is a significant acknowledgment of our endless efforts to build innovative and impactful products that serve a better life. It fuels our passion to keep delivering high-quality Vietnamese solutions that make a difference on the global stage. We are incredibly proud of the results and even prouder of the journey, full of determination and effort, that led us here.

Thanks to this remarkable recognition, we were featured in the South China Morning Post alongside other exceptional startups. Seeing Smartos’s name in such a respected publication was a surreal experience, a testament to the hard work of my entire team.

One of the key reasons I am excited about expanding our business to Hong Kong is the city’s supportive innovation ecosystem and the vast potential market. The significant funding opportunities available in Hong Kong can be a game-changer for startups like ours. Initial funding is crucial for us to invest in developing and refining our solutions, and Hong Kong provides an environment conducive to such growth.

Hong Kong has seen a significant exodus of talent and companies in recent years, with the government implementing various initiatives to attract new firms. We aim to integrate systems supported in Hong Kong into our products to address local needs effectively. This adaptability will help us cater to the unique demands of the Hong Kong market while maintaining our commitment to innovation and efficiency.
